INTRODUCTION

Bryandale equips learners with a competitive edge by teaching future-ready skills and preparing them for a rapidly changing workforce that is more inclusive, cohesive, and productive. The academic team embraces a growth mindset, employing engaging pedagogies and constantly reimagining teaching. They plan and lead change within their community. Bryandale’s dynamic teachers deliver stimulating lessons aligned with 21st Century Learning Design. These lessons are relevant, with class projects focusing on real-world problem-solving through ICT, and daily exercises emphasizing knowledge construction.

The platform for their digital hub is MS Teams, with its intuitive interface. Here, teachers encourage and guide learners to take ownership of their learning outside the classroom. Underpinning all teaching and mentoring are Bryandale’s core values, which are reflected in everything the teachers model and the learners do. At Bryandale, we help learners reach their full potential in a caring, stimulating, and dynamic environment. Bryandale Primary School follows the National Curriculum and Assessment Policy Statement (CAPS) as designed by the Department of Basic Education.

Bryandale has two fully equipped computer centres where learners from grades 1 to 6 learn the fundamentals of coding by designing various games and writing code for them.
